how sweet TECHNOLOGY is

Technology keeps changing and along with that change is the inventions of some pretty neat things. For example, FEEDS. These allow for everyone to personally choose what they want to be updated on and allow you to have these feeds constantly scrolling on the bottom of your computer screen and when you want to read more into the tag line, then you simply just click and you are taken to that particular site that has information that you would like to read more about. It is exciting and new to me! And i love it. This ability to pick and choose what new information you would like to have is very cool, it allows for people to not have to do extra work to finding out information. For example, I plan on asking the parents of my students to use this tool because it is easy and will allow them to be directly connected to my classroom. I can simply add a new monthly calendar, or newsletter, or the take home project directions to my blog or my website and then the parents will can have the ability to not have to beg the students to tell them what is going on in school, but they can simply log on to the Internet, look at their feed and see if anything is new.
I plan on using this technology in my classroom with my students. I feel that it is a great way for students to learn about a particular subject. For example, when students are studying social studies an importatnt aspect is learning about current events, students can subscribe to this site and then have updated information constantly
http://www.cnn.com/. CNN also has a cool site that is made for students http://www.cnn.com/EDUCATION/
The following websites can all be subscribed to
